Saw the Dr this afternoon. I'm 38 weeks pregnant. . . yes that translates into 9 1/2 months preggo! Hannah and Jason tagged along for this next to last Dr appointment. Jason had not met my Dr and was nice to share that experience with my family.
Hannah got to help hold the doppler thingy that Dr uses to hear the heart beat. Dr mentioned heart rate was right around 135 and sounded strong.
Yup got checked and I've progressed to 2cm's, just about 3. Dr tried to see how stretchy the cervix was and lets just say I've been having contractions all night from her lovely magic.
At this moment I'm scheduled to check into the hospital at 7am on 12/7/11 to begin the induction. And Addison will be here hopefully on 12/7/11 or maybe 12/8/11 we'll see how long labor takes me this time!
Otherwise everything else has been looking good at all my appointments. My blood sugars are holding steady, my blood pressure hasn't spiked, and every check of Addison indicates that she's healthy. So we are happy to hear that this pregnancy has been progressing in a healthy manner and now it's just the waiting game of will Addison make her appearance naturally or will she need to be helped out next week.
I continue to work part time until Addison arrives. I've been extremely exhausted the last few days as I've had increased difficulties sleeping. Mainly I'm waking up in the middle of the night for various reasons and having a hard time resuming sleep, leading to a sleep deprived Jessica. Today at least I was able to sleep through til 4:30am.
I'll be sure to update as soon as I can after Addison arrives. Most that follow me here follow facebook of myself and mom- so that will probably be where you'll find the first notice of Addison's arrival.
Continue to be patient as I can't upload photos from my new camera until we replace our computer in 2012- though thankfully I can upload my photos from my phone, so I can share some limited photos.
