That's how pregnant I am. 36 weeks and 4 days. Wednesday will be 37 weeks. I had Hannah at 38 weeks and 2 days (went into labor at 38 weeks). So as you can see I'm very close! Addison could come any day now!
My parents are awesome and asked to take Hannah one last time before Addison made her arrival. So Hannah has been at Grammy and Papa's since early yesterday. And how have we spent our child free time? By going to Breaking Dawn part 1- yes we are Twilight fans. Sushi lunch, a little shopping, and a coffee date after that. Then lets not forget the evening grocery shopping and the quiet evening of me watching Glee and Jason video gaming it up for a bit.
Today has been more low key, a little bit of cleaning and organizing to better prepare for Addison and the Christmas decorations that we promised Hannah would come out today if she was good this weekend.
It's strange to say that when Hannah is gone for more than a few hours- we end up being bored because we just aren't used to this down time. With living in an apartment it's not like there are home improvement projects to take care of. We can only shop so much and honestly with the temp below freezing that doesn't entice me to the outdoors. So needless to say I'm looking forward to picking up my darling girl this afternoon from the grandparents house.
This week will be a shortened one. I work only 3 days this week. Then Saturday is our big surprise to Hannah- Mt. Hood Polar Express train ride! **Yes there is a contingency plan if I'm in labor- we will send the grandparents without Jason and I- because we want Hannah to still enjoy the treat, because after all this is for her!
My Christmas shopping that remains is super limited- I have one gift for Jason and a stocking stuffer or 2 to pick up, a gift for one friend, and a gift for one other family member to purchase. Jason is close to be done too I hear. So that feels good to know we are prepared ahead of time this year. I do need to find a stocking that I like for Addison Grace. I just haven't found one that I like that isn't shotty worksmanship or super cheezy. So I'll keep looking for now.
Well time to go move some laundry and see about enjoying a little more child free time before we have to drive up to Longview to get our big girl!
