Hannah has the beginning moves of crawling. She is so cute when she's trying. She grumbles and grunts and whines, but keeps herself going.
Check out these 2 videos I took this afternoon while she was on her tummy!
If you play the first video backwards she crawls forwards, and you can really see that she is actually moving in that video if you pay attention to where on the blanket she starts and ends.
Teeth related...
Lets see... Hannah is still drooling tons and has a few signs that teething will be soon... but then again we have been seeing these things for about 2 months now. I will be so happy to see a tooth pop through. But eating related we now are eating rice cereal and solids on a regular basis including: applesauce, pears, bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots and recently added green beans. Peas will be added next. We have been trying to give her solids 2 times daily, of course small amounts. Around some I feel guilty that I'm not feeding her "real foods", like today a family member asked if Hannah could have some ice cream and I asked that she not. I don't want her to have that exposure to the sugar or the dairy as I have heard that it can case some problems even allergies later in life. So I've been mindful of the foods that can cause her problems. But there is a bit of a guilt trip given to me by others, but I'll still stick by the way I want to raise her.
Jason and I had dentist appointments this morning... OH MY GOODNESS. Lets start w/ Jason in the upcoming months he can look forward to a root canal and crown along w/ some cavities being filled along with some intense cleaning appointments.
I had a cleaning this morning. I had an absess develop over the weekend and the Dentist drained it and believes that the tooth below it requires a root canal, along w/ another crown needed and approx more cavities than I wish to admit to. I was told that they could get me in today for the root canal, so I cancelled work for the day and showed up at the right time. Granted EXTREMELY anxious. Well after waiting 25 minutes dentist said she wanted me to be on the antibiotics before doing the rootcanal and we'd have to schedule it out (3 weeks), which actually works out better b/c then I can get some anti-anxiety meds to help me through the appointment. Dentist preferred I do that than use the gas. So after a total of nearly 4 1/2 hours at the dentist today.... I had the remainder of the day w/ hubby and Hannah. A blessed time.
Currently Hannah is napping, and Jason had to run to his parents to print something out for a job application. So it's quite here, and thankfully decently clean. I am looking forward to a bath w/ Hannah and some snuggle time tonight.
Who wouldn't love to snuggle and take a bath with this lovely girl!
Enjoy your night all!

Ok -- so the video made me cry. Hannah is growing so fast and I need another Hannah fix. She sure sounds like she knows what she is talking about. But boy those bath pictures sure make her look like just the sweetest little thing. I'm glad you are doing what you want as far as feeding goes. It's much healthier for her to introduce nutritious foods and not let her learn the yummy stuff yet. that will come in good time and no need to dance around the possibility of dairy allergies. You're doing a great job as a mom!!!
Love you all--
happy grandma!!!
