Due to someone's alarm going off (ahem Jason) at 5am, and mommy not being able to go back to bed- 2 parents were up for the day at 5am. I prepped the turkey and had it in the oven by 6am. We had agreed to take the turkey to the Spencer's house for Christmas.
We made coffee and enjoyed a quiet morning. Finally around 730 we just couldn't wait any longer and woke Hannah. We took our time to enjoy the gift opening. Hannah seemed to have a good time.
She got lots of fun imigination play items. A small kitchen, tea set, pretend foods, dress up clothes. She was thrilled and has spent many hours playing tea party.
We got ourselves moving and packed up headed out to Beaverton. We stopped by our friends Stefanie and Justin for a few minutes before heading to mom and dad's.
Our time at the Spencer's was full of movies, chattering, food and drink. We enjoyed the company. Hannah had a blast playing with Cleo. We were lucky that she did take a nap there.
Hannah enjoyed a few more imigination toys, shopping cart and baby doll stroller were both hits this year. Bedtime again came way to fast and we left there around 8pm. Again Hannah needed some play time at home, so late to bed again.
Overall Christmas was a blast. We were blessed to have family time and to have Jason home with us. Though our break from our routine has proven to be slightly difficult.
