ARGH. Hannah's had a runny nose throughout this month, a cough that doesn't sound good at all. NOW. . . this momma has a headache, sore throat, ear pain, sinus pain and general body aches.
I came home early today. Did a bit of work from home before I crashed in bed for 4 hours. I decided that I needed to take care of myself and ran to the store to purchase
I'm not a huge OJ fan, but I love the mixed juice flavors.
I bought some strawberries, bananas, nectarine, and mango. I brought them home, and sliced them up and froze them for about 2 hours.
Final product, about 10oz of juice, handful of fruits that were frozen. Of course I have to share my smoothies with Hannah- she LOVES them. She drank hers up in a few moments and of course wanted more, more, more. But since I'm not feeling well, she had to be told no, hers was gone.
Freezing the fruit means I don't have to throw in ice, so I don't get the ice chunks. And this version then tastes even better than Orange Julius drinks. Since I didn't have much of an appetite for dinner, I don't feel guilty at all for enjoying this treat tonight- it feels good on my throat and is very tasty.

FYI that drink looks amazing! Now I am even MORE jealous! I love reading what you have to post makes me feel right there with ya lol.
