Day 12- Sleeping on the job

This morning this is what we found. . .

With a note that says "Your tree looked so sad. So here's a present for under it. One for Hannah and one for Addison. Love Jackie"
She even had gathered the Christmas bath towel that was perfect sized for a blanket.

And 2 books on the tree.

Wasn't too exciting, though Hannah did enjoy seeing that Jackie had pulled out some ribbon and asked me if she could use it on a project later in the day with Amanda. Which I of course said yes to. As you can see our tree is not yet decked out- we have been waiting for Jason's day off this week so that we as a family can put the tree together. So the hope is that tomorrow night we will spend time decorating the tree.

So for those that have noticed that Jackie sure is bringing lots of things to the girls. . . a bit of a disclaimer- Jackie knew last year that she would be coming to our family this Holiday season. So Jackie sent a list of wish list items that many were found on clearance at Michaels and Joannes around New Years of last year. As well Dollar Tree has been perfect for some items as well! :) And in all honesty there would have been craft items/supplies anyways. There has not been anything above and beyond that would have not been a part of our holidays anyways, other than Jackie and the book- but that was an investment I was willing to make.

We do have 3 weeks left until Christmas!
I am very close to being done with my Christmas shopping. I have 3 craft project gifts to finish. I have 4 gifts left to purchase, along with what I need to get for my secret santa at work. Which I will be interested to see who I get- I'm hoping to be crafty about my gifts since we have a $ limit.

Love, J.

Poor Randolph - nobody ever writes stories about him -- maybe I should think about doing that..... someday.....
