Hannah Marie, my darling daughter turns 3 today! Where have the years gone? What is the biggest change for us this year? Transition from diapers to big girl panties. She has been successful at staying dry all day for a few months now. Occasionally we have an accident, but nothing too bad yet. And I'd say 50% of the time she stays dry through night time, though we still do use pull ups, just to be on the safe side.
She is for sure not our "baby" any more and often doesn't like it when we call her baby. She wants to be called our "big girl" or "sweetheart". She even yelled at daddy this morning "I not your baby, I big girl". I had to giggle! She's definatly showing us her independent and big girl side on occassion.
She was excited to take her sprinkle cupcakes to school to share with her friends this morning.
Hannah's hair is nearing the middle of her back, she's standing well over 3 feet tall, and about 33-35 pounds, depending on when you weigh her. She has her 3 year well child check in about 1 1/2 weeks so I'll have Dr #'s for you then.
Hannah sleeps through the night regularly, its the exception to wake up in the middle of the night and often it's because "I have to go potty mommy". So that's not too bad. She goes to bed around 8:30pm and wakes up around 7:30-8am. Still takes a nap in the middle of the day (THANK GOODNESS!).
She loves swimming and wants us to just let her go- which we do when she's wearing her life jacket!
She seems to have no fear and is adventurous. Though the vacuum and garbage trucks scare her and she worries they will get her, or sometimes even worries the garbage truck will get my car.
Overall she's growing to be a very sweet and loving girl. We love her dearly and seems that all that meet her grow to love her dearly as well. She's made many friends and "family" through her 3 years of life and we hope that she will be blessed to continue to grow her family and friends as the years go on. We know that this year will bring new challenges as we live with a 3 year old.
Hannah has been a wonderful blessing to our family and we continue to pray for her to be blessed in her life.
Happy Birthday to my Lady bug Hannah!
