Impromptu beach trip happens, when MIL and FIL take both SIL's (inlaws) to the beach and call to let us know that there is still room in the hotel if we want to join.
Hannah had stayed overnight at Grammy and Grandpa's house, so when they dropped her off we finished cleaning/packing and headed out to Rockaway. Though it was 8 adults and 2 toddlers in 2 rooms, we made it work! We did get to play in the sand and water with Hannah and Cleo. We got to go swimming and just hang out with the family.
It was a nice impromptu trip. Sadly it ended in not the greatest of ways. Sunday morning the power went out in the hotel and Gma Mary's oxygen machine turned off and the overhead fan sparked (yikes). Not sure if that caused it but Gma Mary was not acting like her self and ended up calling 911 and having her transported to the hospital. She's still in the hospital today, and still unsure what was happening. She was having trouble speaking/remembering and her oxygen level at the hospital was really low. We are still awaiting further news and she's continuing to be monitored.
