Binky

Binky, oh binky? Why are we so dependent on you? We can't wake up, go to sleep, go for a walk, get a hug or a kiss without you hanging out of our mouth.

Binky, you've gotten bigger as the months have gone along. I have tried to get rid of you, but then you return. We left you at home (on accident), and needed to buy one of your family members to sooth us on our day out and about away from home.

Binky, please hear my plee, please stay in the crib or in the Hannah cup on the dresser during the wakeful hours, you are more than welcome during nap and bedtime, but that's it! I don't want to see you during play time, or lovey time with mom and dad. I don't want to find you in my purse or pocket any more.

I don't want to cause fights between the cousins- just stay at home in the crib or Hannah cup. You are welcome during bed and nap times.

**I just noticed as I was looking through the past 2 weeks of photos, every photo that has been taken of Hannah in this time frame, she has a binky in** She was doing so well before she got sick and started cutting her molars- she was only using the binky at sleeping times- we could leave the house with out- but then she got sick and her molars are 1/2 in- so she's been needing it for soothing. We went on a ride along w/ Jason on Sunday- I didn't have a binky with me *I hadn't planned on riding with him*, she wouldn't stop crying until I bought another binky and plugged her in!

Hannah even has a word for Binky- "ba ba". I guess it's time to start tapering binky again!
