18 Months Old

Happy 18 months Hannah.
It is official, I have a 1 1/2 year old child!
Wow.
Today we had our 18 month Dr's appt.
She is 25 pounds and 9 ounces, about the 50th percentile.
She is 34 inches, above the 95th percentile.
She had her shots again- oh that was bad. She screamed!
Overall she is healthy. The cough she has the dr said to not worry about because it's just a lingering cough. The only thing that looks of possible concern is her language. Though the Dr said it would just be a wait til 2 years, and then reevaluate sort of situation. They have you fill out a questionnare about your childs skills- and Hannah wasn't doing some of the language ones. But she jibbers so much that I'm not worried yet.
Speaking of Language here's the low down:
She regularly says: some form of daddy, dada, momma, hi, bye, moo, papa, dog, good, this (as in what's this?)
I have heard her say: car, juice, thank you, night, meow, woof
Others have heard her say: something like grammy or gramma, please, nana, necklace
She signs for more/food and milk/juice. She points to a lot of things.
So she's gaining new words. It seems like each week there is a new word, and I'm sure I've spaced on a few new ones, but those are what I recall.
She has discovered how to pick her nose- a joyful thing I'm sure in her world. Haha. She is big into climbing on things. She walks (I mean runs) every where. And if you have had the pleasure of seeing her run you know what I mean when I say it's her "Punch run", since she punches her fists when she runs. She is beginning to eat with utensils- she gets what they are for, and will at least use her spoon to dip into things and then put it into her mouth, so that's pretty cool to watch.
Over all I am amazed at her growth and how she develops new things. It's funny to see her imitate us- she will take the remote, hold it over her head and point it at the TV. Well that's cause she sees us do it- the TV and stuff is on a high entertainment center, and we have to put the remote up in the air when sitting on the couch to use it- so she knows that's how you use it.
Anyways, a healthy developing little girl.
J.

I'm pretty sure she says "good job" "good girl" "my food" "willie" "up" "no"
I'm not worried about the language. When she has that binky out she is more vocal and of course jibbers all the time. She can certainly make her wishes known!
