Sarah and I were camp friends. . . after camp 2000, life happened and we lost touch. About 2 months ago I got a message from her on facebook looking for her camp buddy Dreamer. We reconnected very quickly. It was this weekend that she came down to spend a weekend with my family, meet my husband and my daughter. Hannah loved her and we had a great weekend, here's some of our adventures.
Sunday we ventured downtown- Jason tagged along- such a good hubby. Us with the statue in Pioneer Square.
Sarah and Hannah with the same statue.

The 3 of us hanging out in the square.
We took her down to the Saturday market- it was fun to walk around and look at things. Sarah found some mint chocolate for a treat- we had lunch and just enjoyed the sights.

Skidmore fountain.
Sarah pushing the stroller through the market.
Saturday morning just goofing off- Hannah playing beep w/ my nose.
Hannah giving Sarah big hugs, and then cheesing it up for the camera!
Saturday we ventured to the Beaverton Farmers market and got some corn for dinner, lunch and kettle corn! Then we headed to Multnomah Falls. It was a great time.
Sarah, in a Sarah Like pose!
Just beautiful!
Hannah wanted to see over the railing, Sarah was helping her up.

Hannah and I looking through the railing at the water.
A great mommy daughter moment at the falls!

It was nice to catch up with Sarah and share some of the adventures that we have been through since we last were in contact. It was sad to see her go on Sunday, but I think we were all ready for some more sleep! I am looking forward to the next trip where I will go north to see her and hopefully meet her fiance Paul.

It was a fabulous weekend catching up with you! It felt like we hadn't lost any time. I just loved being able to see you now as a Mom but still as the strong, compassionate and fabulous woman that I spent so much time with years ago. I can't wait for your venture north--whenever we are able to make that happen. I can't wait!! Much love to you all!! :)
