So today we visited the Sauvie's Island, Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maize. Included in this outing were Jason, Myself, Hannah, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Michelle.
We first went out to the pumpkin patch and picked out a few pumpkins and took some photos. I think that Hannah got put through the wringer... but she was a good sport.
Here she is with grandpa's help sitting on top of a pumpkin.
We took off her sun hat... and she's all smiles w/ her grandpa!
Of course she's wearing her "Baby's first Halloween" shirt. She was such a ham today.

Okay we are very, very cheese ball... I laid Hannah on one of her blankets and we put a few pumpkins around here and took some photos... she didn't tolerate this for very long at all. I can't blame her either, having to lay in a pumpkin feild.
We found a few Hannah sized pumpkins (though later in the market found they had even smaller ones!). Hannah of course wanted to know what it tasted like, so she attempted to mouth it... her first attempt she took that stem to her forehead causing a nice red mark in the middle of her head. I don't think this photo shows it at all... but it was there the rest of the day!
Well Hannah, cause I wanted you to be the baby lamb next to the real sheep of course.
Yes, it was warm outside, the barn was cooler, we put her in costume for at the most 3 minutes, long enough to take about 10 photos with 3 cameras, and enjoy a cut laugh at the baby lamb Hannah.
Slightly out of order... oh well... Here is us on the hayride back from the pumpkin patch. Aunt Michelle, Hannah and I.
Hannah and Daddy going past the scarecrows.
Jessica and Hannah on the hay ride. As you might have been able to tell Hannah was all about looking around, and not paying attention to the camera at all, but that's alright! , she was there and that's all that matters.
Hannah Marie and Grandma Kathy, in the corn Maize, I'm not sure who is lost here.
Here's the group of us walking into the 2nd half of the corn maize. It was fun to wander through the corn maize. Hannah was such a good sport, she would hang out with one person then after a few minutes she'd move to the next person that had a clean and dry shoulder for her to chew on- she seemed to enjoy all the family time she was getting from everyone.

Do you know how hard it is to hold Hannah's head in a hole and make mine fit one too? Not easy, but we did the best we could.
We also enjoyed walking through the gift shop and the market where we ended up getting some fresh fruit and veggies including some squash, mangoes, pears, peppers and blueberries, we also enjoyed eating some lunch outside at their small trailer cafe. It was a great day. It did get warmer than we expected, but it still was a nice day. Hannah was a trooper and only slept during the shopping part of the day and the ride home.
Later in the day we enjoyed a playgroup playdate potluck... which was totally fun! Hannah of course again a trooper, by 8:30pm however she was ready for bed and easily fell asleep in mommy's arms for the night. All in all a very nice day which we thankfully enjoyed as a family.
