Hannah's 5 month update

So I am going to try to give this blogger a fair chance. See I have a myspace account and a xanga account where I spend most of my blogging time at, due to it's easyness. However, not everyone can have access to those unless they have their own account. So I'll give this another shot so that perhaps all my family can have access to this and can read and see how the family is doing.

How exciting that Hannah Marie is over 5 months old now. Back before Hannah was born, my mom found these very cute camo overalls that have some white frillys on them and gave them as a gift to Jason, which of course you know he loved.

There were 9/12month pants, and I put them a the back of her closet, knowing we wouldn't be fitting into them so quickly. Well earlier this week, Jason pulled them out by chance and tried them on little miss, and this is what became! Then of course once she had the pants on I told him to run and find her orange beenie... so she could have the full outfit on.

Of course we couldn't pass up a cute oppurtunity like that to take photos. I seem to take way more photos now than I ever thought i would. I don't get nearly the time to scrapbook the photos... but I have been able to blog the really important ones, which at least is a start for me. I've decided that when I do get the chance to scrapbook it will be simple and short. I don't need elaborate anymore, I just need the story the photos a few embelleshments.

Earlier this week Hannah was waiting on dad's lap for me to go get her pj's or bottle or something, I come back a few minutes later and this is what I found.... Hannah passed out on her own. We are starting to see a few times where she will put herself to sleep, but not as a general rule, we still have to swaddle her and then bounce/tap/sing/shush her to sleep.

How can you not love a face like this. We have been blessed that Hannah is a happy, smiley baby and generally speaking will smile for most anyone! She laughs often, smiles most of the time, and just seems to enjoy her life! I can't say that I don't enjoy that. It's probably her smile that makes coming home at night after work so worthwhile. I walk in the door and usually she's there playing with dad and I say hello to her and her face lights up, a smile comes on and if it's a really good day she will start to jibber jabber at me, as if to tell me all about the antics she and her dad have been up while I've been at work. She's such a sweetheart and I wouldn't trade her for the world!

So here we are Hannah's five and 1/2 months old... we are amazed daily at the changes. She is able to roll around (though hasn't really wanted to much lately), she's begun to be able to sit on her own, in small doses, she enjoys her tummy time more often and has started to show some movements that will lead into crawling, she's eating solids daily (sweet potatoes, applesauce, bananas and pears are in the rotation right now along w/ some rice cereal on occassion).

Overall life is good... and Hannah's growing!

PS- I just realized what the date is, and that means that Hannah's cousin (Jason's sister's daughter) Cleo is 6 months old today! Yeah! This photo is the best and most recent one I have... and she was a little over 5 months in it... but it will do for now.
