Labor Day weekend

How did we spend our last weekend of the summer?

In past years we have used Labor Day weekend as our final camping trip. This year due to scheduling and the fact that I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant we decided that we were not going to be able to camping. So we made some plans with family.

Saturday we spent the day with Jeff, Debbie (Papa and Nana), Gr. Gma Mary, Gr. Gma Ann, Aunt Jessica and Uncle Jake (yes we have a legitimate uncle now, I have a brother in law- Jenny's Husband) and our family went to the Portland Saturday market.

We walked around a bit, had lunch, attempted VooDoo doughnuts, but the line was too long for anyone to want to wait. And then called it a day after a few hours. It was hot and there were A LOT of people there! But that's okay, was still a lot of fun. Hannah totally crashed in the car on the way home, she did a lot of walking at the waterfront.

Sunday, we did some switcharoo's at the storage unit. Camping gear in, baby gear out.

Then up to Grammy and Papa's.

What a great Sunday- it was nice and warm, so Hannah got into her suit, and proceeded to enjoy some back yard swimming pool time. Which included some splashing of mommy, daddy and grammy!

She took a late nap, so of course bedtime was delayed. But still she slept well! We all do when at Grammy's house.

Monday brought more fun. It was cool out at first, but the sun started to break for us and we headed out on the boat. We battled the wind, waves, and yacht boat wakes! It was a blast to be out on the river going for a ride. I think all of us got a bit too much sun, other than Hannah who was sporting her 50 spf sunscreen!

More to come. . .
