Stuffing. . .

Thanksgiving weekend was one where things got stuffed in! Thanksgiving day, unplanned Jason was in Portland. He was scheduled to take his 10 hour break at Jubitz in Portland. Hannah and I went to see him, we spent a little time with him. Before we left for Longview to see my family, Jason got a message saying that he would just deliver his trailer the next morning. So Jason tagged along to Longview with us! Poor guy then had a very long night because he hadn't slept and was sent to Everett with a load, back down to Portland for his time off that would start that Saturday.

While Jason was home we made sure to make a trip out to see his family. We had to get the DEQ stuff done for the Bronco, get the tires fixed on the Bronco and decorate for Christmas!

I learned from a friend that Macy's has Santa Mailboxes- tied in with the Make a wish foundation and the movie "Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus". So Hannah and I wrote out a letter to Santa and she delivered it into his mail box.

We did indeed get our decorations up. Yes we have our tree up- and the underneath of the tree is now starting to pile up with gifts as I have been busy with my crafting and slowly purchasing gifts for those that are on my list. Hannah's doing really well with leaving most of the things along. Sometimes I have to remind her and she's okay with that. I'm allowing her to help me wrap and make gifts, as well she got to help decorate the tree. It's actually fun for her to come home now after I've been at work, because I have the timer set to turn on the lights before we get home, so she runs to the tree to see if it's on!

Hannah's been increasingly becoming aware of Santa. She's discovered that she likes Christmas movies, including Polar Express and the trilogy of Santa Claus movies.
